Nitroxinil Injection 34%
Composition.
Each ml contains Nitroxinil 340mg.
Indication.
Nitratong 34 is indicated for control of Fasciolosis ( larval and adult stage) caused by fasciola hepatica and F. Gigantica, gastrointestinal parasitism caused by Haemonchus spp., Oestrus spp in cattle, sheep, goats and camel.
Dosage and administration.
The standard dosage is 10mg nitroxinil per kg body weight (=1.5ml of Nitratong 34 per 50kg b.w.) by subcutaneous only. Refer leaflet for more details.
Contraindications.
Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to the active ingredient. Do not exceed stated dose.
Over Dosage.
In the event of accidental over dosage , the symptoms are pyrexia, rapid respiration and increased excitability. Patients should be kept cool and dextrose saline should be administered intravenously.
