COMPOSITION:
Each gm contains:
Doxycycline …………………………………..500mg
(equivalent to Doxycycline Hyclate USP 577mg)
INDICATIONS:
To treat infections caused by the following bacteria sensitive to doxycycline:
Broilers: To treat colibacillosis and chronic Respiratory Syndrome, caused by Escherichia coli and Mycoplasma gallisepticum, respectively.
Pre-ruminant Calves: Respiratory tract infections caused by sensitive species such as Pasteurella multocida and Mannheimia haemolytica.
Dosage & Administration:
Broilers: 15mg of doxycycline / kg b.w. / day for 3-5 days ( equivalent to 30 mg of the drug / kg bw/ day).
Pre- ruminant Calves : 10mg doxycycline /kg b.w. / day (equivalent to 0.2g of medicine / 10kg b,w./day) for 5 days.
Oral administration in drinking water or milk.
Precaution:
Use during pregnancy , lactation or lay. Do not use this medicine in breeding animals or in laying birds.
