Properties;

Esb ₃ possesses a wide range of activity and exerts a prompt effect. It interferes with the life cycle of coccidia and bacteria and prevents their multiplication. Esb ₃ does not have any adverse effect on feed utilisation, laying performance, or shell quality.

Indications;

Poultry coccidiosis due to infection with E. acervulina (small intestine), E. maxima (small intestine), E. necatrix (small intestine), E. tenella (caecum), or E. brunetti (lower segments of the gut) in rearing poultry, broilers, young hens and layers. Turkey coccidiosis due to infection with E. adenoids (small intestine, caecum, and large intestine) or E. meleagrimitis (duodenum and small intestine).
Fowl typhoid in chickens and turkeys caused by infection with Salmonella gallinarum.

Administration and dosage;

Esb ₃ is administered in the drinking water; during the period of treatment the birds must not be allowed access to any other water. The medicated water should be freshly prepared each day. No changes should be made in the birds’ feed.
